Sensei Graeme Wright:
Chief Instructor
2nd Dan Sport Karate

Graeme has studied a wide range of Martial Arts over the last 20 years before choosing to settle with Freestyle Sport Karate in 2000. Graeme decided that Sport Karate suited his imagination and gave him scope to explore the different avenues of Martial Arts all under one roof.

Having worked in gyms Graeme realised that sports coaching was slowly becoming a passion as well as work. Since this realisation, he has trained as a sports coach from 6 month old babies up to 80 year olds. He also boasts a CV which consists of him working along side military personnel and police forces around Britain both in fitness and personal protection fields.

Having worked in the security industry since the age of 18, Graeme quickly realised that his Martial Art training had to be adapted to work for real. He started to get rid of the moves and techniques that did not work and retain the effective self protection which he now uses within the Wright Fitness and Freestyle Centre curriculum.

Since 2000, Graeme has competed all over the world gaining British, European and World success.
